Summary of the facts of global warming.

Burning fossil fuels and increasing the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and oceans is not a good thing to be doing.
Additional carbon dioxide will endanger ocean fisheries by destabilizing the calcium carbonate in marine organisms at the base of the ocean food chain.
Reducing the atmosperic carbon dioxide level to the pre-industrial level will have only a small effect on global warming.
Methane (CH4) can have very little effect on global warming (see Fig. 12 in Wijngaarden and Happer) because the Earth emits very little radiation at the frequencies that methane blocks.
